Req 2.64: Ensure uninterrupted operation through redundant cloud infrastructure.

⚙️ Technical Demonstration

IMTLazarus completely satisfies this requirement by utilizing a highly redundant, multi-zone cloud infrastructure engineered to eliminate single points of failure. The platform’s backend services are distributed across isolated infrastructure zones, guaranteeing continuous service availability, uninterrupted policy enforcement, and seamless administrative access for DepEd:

  • Multi-Zone Application Redundancy: Core operational modules—such as the administrative dashboards, policy delivery engines, and agent communication gateways—are deployed in active-active configurations across separate physical availability zones. If an unexpected infrastructure failure impacts one zone, traffic is automatically rerouted to remaining healthy instances with zero operational downtime or disruption to managed endpoints.
  • Failover Database Architecture: System configurations, device registries, and critical policies are backed by a replicated database cluster. Real-time data synchronization between primary and secondary database instances ensures that if a database component experiences an outage, a failover mechanism instantly promotes a secondary replica to maintain continuous read/write capabilities.
  • Autonomous Edge Enforcement: To ensure student safeguarding remains active under any circumstance, the platform decouples active endpoint protection from live cloud availability. Enrolled device agents execute web filtering and security policies locally at the edge. Even during a complete external network disruption or cloud maintenance window, the local agent continues to enforce active restrictions uninterrupted.
