Req 2.23: Provide tamper-evident audit logs covering configuration changes, administrative activities, policy enforcement actions, and compliance events.
⚙️ Technical Demonstration
IMTLazarus completely satisfies this requirement by capturing, processing, and retaining full-spectrum administrative telemetry and operational logs. The platform records every configuration modification, account access event, and policy enforcement action in a centralized database schema. These audit trails are decoupled from standard user access layers to prevent tampering, ensuring total accountability and an auditable security posture for DepEd:
Advanced Multi-Dimensional Audit Querying: The Custom Search console leverages indexed data to allow rapid security investigations. Auditors can filter logs by operational module icons, user roles (Administrator, Teacher / Staff, Family), custom date ranges, target school sections (e.g., 4th Grade, Kindergarten), specific student devices, or operational scopes, providing immediate visibility during compliance reviews.
Centralized Security Metric Aggregation: The logging subsystem feeds data directly into an enterprise-wide analytics layer. As illustrated in 2.23-1.png, the Observation Panel aggregates administrative actions over a rolling 30-day window. It segments activities by supervisory groups (e.g., Teachers and Families) and flags statistical increments across core enforcement modules, such as Web Filters, Camera Status adjustments, Application Restrictions, and YouTube Filters.
Granular, Chain-of-Custody Tracking: Every system command is logged with full contextual data. As displayed in the audit workspace (2.23-2.png), each record establishes an indisputable chain of custody by permanently tracking the precise timestamp, the configuration action (e.g., Camera Disabled, YouTube Total Lock Filter, or Web Filter Gemini Allowed), the duration of the policy, the targeted student endpoints, and the specific identity and role of the acting operator (e.g., Julian Forster / Super Admin).
